Bought a set of these for my 94 F-150. Hubs were loose and rattled. Contacted company who said they'd send the "Spira-Lok" fix for them provided I had my receipt. Didn't have it, so they're happy to sell them to me. So much for standing behind your product. Later, I emailed their tech-support via their email for that purpose. Had to send three separate emails, same one every time, the third time I included their info@milemarker address, complaining about the lack of response and finally got an answer, albeit an incorrect one. I don't know if Warn stands behind their product any better, but I'm going to change to them and find out. For years, I'd planned to buy a Mile Marker winch, but no mre. It's Warn all the way. Here in the US, there seem to be three philosophies for business: "we're criminals and so are our customers, so let's take 'em for anything we can"; Secondly, there's "We're just a struggling company that has to deal with criminals to stay in business, so we don't trust any of 'em"; and third, there's "We believe everyone's honest and deserves the benefit of the doubt--we stand by our product, regardless--it may cost a bit, but we'll get more customers and hang onto 'em." Mile Marker is clearly in the second camp. They'd prefer not to deal with us dishonest consumers, but hey, ya gotta sell something to stay in business. Companies like Schrade (knives) and (the European) Moen happily stand behind their products, and they get repeat business because of it. Do not buy from Mile Marker.
