My car sits in the open every day of the year and our South Texas sun gets very hot. The lenses on my Mustang kept getting so bad, I would have to replace them every couple of years and that is very expensive as I also had to pay to have someone to put them on too. Without replacing them, my car would not pass inspection. Shame on you - FORD!!! You should really improve this product!!!
Now, back to the headlight covers. I purchased them and put them on in about 60 seconds (and I am an old lady too!!). Now, if they do what they say, I am going to save a mint. I also found out they are not legal to leave on when you are driving, but I don't mind as I just pop them off and place them in the trunk and when I get back, pop them back on. No tools and no adjusting anything on my hood latch either.
