Bought this as an alternative to a bike rack that I would have had to mount on the back of my RV. Used it last week on my Ford Sport Trac to carry 2 bikes and it worked as advertised. Bike tires do not get in the way of the trailer hitch and I could easily fit 4 bikes. I do suggest that you add a tie down strap across the bikes for added support as the bikes will shift from side to side during turns. Would be a plus if they had a lock or security device for the pad when left in position on the truck but it does work as intended.
