Mine is made in China (sure wish I could purchase things made in the U.S), is rated at 16,000 pounds max. gross tongue weight, 3000 pounds max. vertical load and with a 14,000 pound max. ball rating. It seem like a high quality unit and comes with grade 8 installation hardware.
