once I got this installed it looks really good and am sure it will protect my hood there is already two tiny dents from stones thrown up in the front of the hood.
I did have problems installing it as the rubber nuts supplied to put the mounting screws in are smaller than the holes in my hood so I had to use a different method of mounting I used extra 3M tape and rubber expanding plugs the type they used to hold the plastic wheel covers on with.
I do like the bugshield it looks sharp on the truck and being a white truck it also helps break the white up
CONS:- possibly the holes in my hood were made bigger by previous owner but anyway the rubber nuts are too small.
PROS:- excellent bugshield higher than the hood and a curve at top likely throws stones over the truck.
