I live in Washington State-these lights are street legal here.But don't buy these and think you can run them as posing lights they are way to bright. Best use I can see is off Road second would be dark country roads with no head on traffic. AS FOR THE ADJUSTMENT SCREWS-I have a JK with 35 inch tires and a 4" lift so I had to adjust them down as far as they would go. Here comes the 4 star rating-It would have been lower if I had written this right after installing them but I love these lights. The depth of the adjustment screws is not deep enough! Even if my Jeep didn't have a lift these screws would not adjust enough. I tried ones on the bottom that were half the length and still not much adjustment-finally I replace the bottom ones with ones that were one third the size of the ones that came with the lights this fixed it. Now keep in mind you have to remove the bumper to install these and I had to do all this from the back with very little room and line of sight. Again I have a 4 inch lift! Make sure the screws adjust all the way before you put the bumper back on! If you have a lift you might as well put them as low as they will go-mine still seem a little high. As for lighting your way these lights are AAA++++++you can buy all the off road flood lights you want they won't come close to giving you the up close and smooth transition of light these will give you.These cut a 30 foot wide and then some path of light were you need it most.Pros-5 star off road light great for country driving but be smart save yourself a ticket or being beaten over the head by some little old lady turn them off in on coming traffic! Cons-the adjustment screws on mine! If your not lifted or run them in fog give a review and let people know what too expect! These lights need reviews help out your fellow four wheelers this is a great product! As for lifted jeeps heres my review!
