I use it to haul a flatbed with ATVs/Dirt Bikes/Actual Bikes or stuff to the dump occasionally. Not much to say, as if you're looking for a hitch mount for your Audi/VW there aren't a lot of options. Works well and has stood up to test of time. FYI the auto selector chooses the wrong trailer wiring harness (which I'm guessing you'll buy with this). Instead of Curt Manufacturing's harness, go with the Hopkins 46365 Short Proof Power Converter. I promise it'll fit / work for almost any newer (B5+) Audi.

Tips:
Use two bottle jacks for leveling side to side, then a third jack to level front to back, but putting it under the reciever.
A second pair of hands is useful for parts of it
Grab some black rustoleum to paint the 4 holes you drill, and the silver hardware after installation, to make it more discrete, better looking, and block rust.
