The product was simple to install, to a point. I have a 2001 honda civic lx with manual transmission and the second half of the piping meant to lead in front of the engine could not be made to fit. The clutch cable, transmission, and mounting bracket were all causing problems. It could be made to fit by modifying it, but for simplicity's sake I chose not to install it and use it as a short ram intake. Also, the mount adapter it comes with broke before ever even putting it on. I just used one of the screws and rubber mounts from the old air filter housing to anchor it down.

The instruction were pretty vague, but the whole process is simple enough that they are really not even needed.

This DEFINITELY gave my car a power boost, sounds louder, and bumped me up from 35mpg to 37mpg

Being said, I cannot give it 5 stars since the whole thing doesn't fit. Yet it did replace my old airfilter housing for $60 and made a noticeable change in engine performance.

All things considered, it is a good buy for the price assuming you are upgrading the stock air intake system. Or in my case, replacing the air filter housing for something cheaper and better.
