These bars are very easy to install but WOW they are very loud. I've had several over the years and none whistled as loud as these. Not even close. So upon further determination (driving around with my arm reached out of the window) I found that I could "plug" the void around the tightening knobs with my finger to eliminate 90% of the noise. So I tied some paracord around the bar and knobs and now its MUCH MUCH better. Hardly a noise at all. Obviously a design flaw. I wish I would have bought different bars that do not have this void surrounding the knobs (like some on ebay). The dang knobs would even whistle while sitting in the driveway with a stiff breeze. The length of the bars fit perfectly on my ML320.
