THE INSTALLATION! As in previous reviews, there is no installation literature!
I will save you the hassle of looking.

Now study this. Small amount of information and I will add my own instructions to safely take your switch to the center of your console.
#1. RUGGED RIDGE - Remove the 13 mm retaining nut on the back side
(And so on with instructions)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
#1. ME- (PASSENGERS SIDE) Take a 13mm Deep Well Socket ONLY! (Throw your ratchet drive through the wall, like I wanted too!, trying to get it in the opening that is shown in the picture) Get a pair of straight neck/jawed channel locks then, ever so gently and difficult, put 13mm socket over the retaining nut. Now, use Channel Locks to grip the socket and remove. Same/reverse application for replacement of retaining nut.
#1.5. ME- (DRIVERS SIDE) 13mm Deep Well. 10-12" extension. This is a rather easy removal and replacement with these tools.
Doesn't deserve a number. Install your lights with a 9/16 wrench (OPEN END) At this point just align by eye until its dark on level surface.
THE WIRING DIAGRAM
Throw it on the garage floor. Stomp on it a few times. Set it on fire and dance on it!
Depending on where you want your switch.
THIS WILL PUT YOUR SWITCH IN THE MIDDLE OF YOUR JK WITH ROOM FOR EITHER, SIDE TO SIDE.
I laid this loom out in the way it said. Multiple times.
NO GO! WITHOUT adding a lot of wire/connectors to drag down voltage. I found this to be the best/non detrimental way to add WITHOUT devaluing my JK.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~HERE GOES~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
#1. Take the Relay and hook/plug it all up to the Wiring Loom. Wire tie it to the passengers side firewall wiring loom (corner, above battery). Pull and route your wires accordingly to length down passengers side. Passengers to drivers and plug in to according to length.
At this point. I routed my wires OVER AND ALONG the Overflow of the radiator hose, to the light. I also installed corrugated wire cover over the wire from light to light. Wire protection and looks.
Now, Once your hooked up on the EXTERIOR Side of this. You should have a harness of wires with plugs at the end on the passengers side, by the battery. And a bunch of wires.
#2 Get a metal coat hanger. Cut it and straighten to full length, put a hook to comfort your hand on the one end.
#3 Open passengers door. Stick finger up into the small gap on the very top of the side panel, towards the A Pillar. Remove panel. 4 clips, very flexible.
#4 Take straight end of coat hanger and push through the small 1" foamed in hole you see @ firewall. Repeat this until you can VERY EASILY pass the hanger through.
#5 From the INTERIOR SIDE push the hanger through the hole and you will have the straight end in the Engine Area. Tape the wires to the coat hanger and pull them through the foam. (Now depending upon how much foam removed depends upon ease of this step)
#6 At this point you have the loom that is ready to plug in. I already had a hot wire to tap in this area.. ( There is a Negative in each foot well of most/all JK's)
YOU MAY HAVE TO EXTEND HOT AND NEGATIVE WIRES AT THIS POINT BACK TO BATTERY or a switchable location in the MAIN BOX, just forward of the battery. I WENT TO BATTERY.
#7 Remove Glove Box. Open and grasp each side and push knobs in. Drop down and pull out.
DASH JUST ABOVE CENTER STICK- Remove the Center blank panel. (Just above the floor console, either a blank panel or has a net.)
Run the switch wire through bottom opening (when blank is removed.) and fish it up through the passengers side to above the glove box and plug in. DO NOT INTERFERE WITH THE CLIMATE CONTROL SELECTORS!
#8 Replace blank panel with wire exiting below it. ( At this point I just left extra wire behind the dash and tucked the switch up behind the netting.You can choose to take the wire anywhere you can get it for the switch to come out after #7. Best of Luck! I spent way too much time installing this not to write a review)
#9 Hook up to the battery. 10mm wrench. 10 on the top of the positive. 11 on the top of negative or 10 on the post of negative.
#10 Test, replace all panels ties all loose wires.
NOTE: If you hook directly to the battery!
The LED light WILL remain on.
If not a daily driver, hook switch power source to a keyed on only positive terminal!
