I was looking to put a 2 inch receiver on the front of my 2003 F350 SuperCrew, but I didn't like the ones available that installed behind the bumper and tug points; plus you would lose your factory driving lights and I had other lights/lightbar mounted on the front. So I purchased a Curt Manufacturing 31014 Front Mount Receiver for its mounting location that puts it just under the front airdam. Now I can mount my 10.5k# winch, bike carrier, fishing rod rack or cargo tray up front and still put a trailer out back. Good product. Heavy duty. All mounting holes lined up properly. I like it.

got one of these for my Honda Element and it was delivered in time by Summit Racing by UPS and that was well.

The box it was in, was for a about 12" longer than it needed to be and didn't have any paper or filler to absorb shock. No pieces in box.

Thats ok though, they shipped from the factory one that was shorter on one side. I had to cut the other side down.

So if you looking for Quality Control, buy from someone else besides Ventshade or Lund Co.

Yes, yes I know. Two stars. Seems harsh when the other two reviews are 4 and 5 stars. Here's the deal:

The plate delete is only valuable to you Subaru owners if and only if you have holes from your license plates already drilled in! Let me give some background with that... I just had a brand new bumper from Subaru put on, and as you 06+ Impreza owners know, we have two holes stamped through our bumpers (I suppose those holes are made to accommodate Japanese plates).
Anyways, I requested that they not drill holes in the bumper to mount my US license plate because I had other intentions (such as using this plate delete to cover up those existing holes and not have to drill more).

My product arrived in five days I believe, which wasn't terribly long but longer than I'm used to with Amazon (usually I get my items in two days). This plate delete does not utilize the factory-made holes in our Subaru bumpers. It requires you to either A) use the holes from where your plate was drilled in or B) if you have a new bumper like me you have to drill holes anyways to use it. That is why I would give this product a 3 star review. Sure you cover up where the license plate should go, but what's the point if you have four holes in your bumper? The reason I got it is so I wouldn't have to drill and have a bumper that looked as it does from the factory.

Now, the reason I am giving a two star review is because of TRU Motorsports themselves. I have not even opened the product they sent to me. When I received the plate delete, I simply held up the plate delete (in the bag it came in with no cuts or any opening of any sort) to my bumper. When I saw it didn't work with what I had in mind, I simply put it back in the box, and ordered the Perrin license plate delete instead. Afterwards, I went to "My Orders", and went to file a return. As an Amazon Prime member I thought this would be straight forward and I would just pack it up and bring it to the UPS store. No, it isn't. I had to request a return (which I wasn't familiar with). Basically I sent two e-mails to TRU Motorsports saying A) I intended to return the product because it did not utilize the factory holes and B) everything was in the same condition I received it in. No openings at all.

I waited for my response and got two e-mails. They said to return it but that there is a 25% restocking fee. My question is: What for? There's no reason to charge me over 10 dollars to take back a product that doesn't do what I thought it would. It isn't open. It isn't damaged. I even have the packing peanuts that came in the box (which was far too big for such a small item). So now I have spent $46 dollars on this product, and I will have to spend at least $11.50 just to get that back. That does not include the packaging and fees to send it, mind you.

This is a terrible example of customer service. Where does it say anywhere that it will be a 25% restocking fee? Why is there any fee for them to accept a brand new, unopened item back? Why did it take twice as long to get here compared to every other Amazon vendor I've used?

My advice?
A) Don't get this plate delete if you have a brand new bumper. I'd recommend the Perrin Motorsports plate delete instead.
B) If you do buy from TRU Motorsports, make sure you have EXACTLY what you want and be 100% sure that you won't want to return it. I have the GrimmSpeed Locator from them and have the Perrin plate delete on the way. If I want to return those two items for some reason as well, it is going to cost me $31.75 (not including shipping fees for USPS, UPS, or FedEx), just in their restocking fee. This is not customer service. This is a business gouging you for every penny they can get for no good reason.

Buy from any other vendor on Amazon, or direct from manufacturer if you want to avoid this mess that I'm in. If you know 100% that you will be in love with what you receive, than its not ridiculous to do business with TRU Motorsports.

If my customer service experience improves with these people, I will adjust the review accordingly, but I felt like I should warn any potential customers of the consequences if they aren't in love with merchandise from this business.

2002 - 2007 Saturn Vue Crossbars Roof Rack Review

I also found the instructions and pictures very misleading. I hope the following will help make the job easier. It took about 45 minutes to complete the installation. I do like the product

Saturn VUE 2002 & Up Without Roof Rails
*** USE THE TOOL PROVIDED WITH THE KIT

Check all parts.

Remove the four (4) screws from both roof rails at positions 3, and either 4 or 5 or 6 using a star bit screw driver. Save the screws in case you wish to remove the cross bars at a later date. I removed the four screws to ensure that I would not have a problem in the middle of the installation.

Lift about 3" of the vinyl piece at each end of the crossbar to provide access to the holes.

Attach the larger end pieces to the cross bar using the black screw, flat washer and self locking nut***. The self locking (small) part of the nut should be away from the screw. Tighten but not too much. About �" of the screw should extend beyond the nut.

Carefully screw the 2 longer standoffs into the holes in position 3. You will have to use a socket. Do not over tighten.

Place the crossbars over the two standoffs and using the two shorter screws with a lock washer secure the end pieces to the standoffs***. If you raise the end piece about a �" from the roof rail, it will be easier to insert the screw. Again do not over tighten.

Insert the smaller end cap into the end piece. Secure the end cap using a chrome set screw***.

Secure the vinyl into both ends.

Carefully screw 2 shorter standoffs into the holes in position 4, 5 or 6. You will have to use a socket. Do not over tighten.

Place the crossbars over the two standoffs and using two longer screws with a lock washer and 2 or 3 flat washers secure the end pieces to the standoffs***. If you raise the end piece about a �" from the roof rail, it will be easier to insert the screw. The screws should be tight. If not, add additional flat washers. Again do not over tighten.

Insert the smaller end cap into the end piece. Secure the end cap using a chrome set screw***.

Secure the vinyl into both ends

Check that the crossbars are tight.

You may hear a slight air sound that was not apparent before.

Fit System 70103T Passenger Side Replacement OE Style Heated Power Folding Mirror Review

I purchased these tow mirrors for my 2010 Tundra at about 1/2 the price quoted by my local Toyota dealer for OEM mirrors. I installed the mirrors myself. The installation was not too bad after you get the door panel removed enough to get to the lower mounting studs. The mirrors fit and mounted great. The power adjustment on the mirrors works smoothly and the turn signals and running lights worked with the existing truck wiring. My previous OEM sport mirrors did not have lights on them but I was pleased to find out that the truck was pre-wired for the lights on the mirrors. I haven't tried out the power heat on the mirrors yet since the Tundra has a spot in my garage. One other thing, the mirrors are stable when driving down the road. There is a very slight vibration noticeable when you hit a bump but I don't know if it's any more than the original mirrors. Over all, I am very pleased with the mirrors. The truck still goes through a standard single garage door without having to fold in the mirrors (about 1 inch clearance)
