I wanted something for my UTV that I could use on foggy Michigan days. The magnetic base is very powerful. This thing wont even slide across a metal surface. It's that snug.

The switch on the cigarette lighter adapter allows you to turn off the light and switch the blinking pattern. I had a more expensive police strobe and it was much brighter. This is LED, so the trade off for the lower lumens would be longevity.

It's visible during the day, but not very bright in some modes. The 1 second dual strobe mode seems to be the brightest. For the price it was a good buy. It shipped pretty fast even with the lowest shipping option.

I bought a 2002 VW New Beetle several years ago that had the foglamps painted black because one had been cracked. I had priced replacements elsewhere online and decided they were a bit too pricey. Then I saw these on Amazon and had to try them. Top quality, fit perfectly, glad I finally have the optional foglights functioning. The installation was a bit difficult, but once I managed to unclip the lower grill assembly and see how it attached, it was very doable. I just unclipped both sides of the lower grille enough to reach the top mounting screw of the foglight assemblies. The manual indicated a lot more disassembly, which I did not find necessary.
I am quite please with this purchase.
