Anzo USA 121132 Toyota Tacoma Crystal Chrome Headlight Assembly - (Sold in Pairs) Review

I bought this for a 1997 Tacoma to replace a dim and yellow 15y/o factory unit. The fitment was excellent, aiming was difficult because of the tight spots. As advertised, these are a stronger beam than the OE, however, the beam pattern has tons of dark streaks and when aimed to the correct height, has a large dark area in front of the hood line when sitting in the drivers seat. The factory unit had a very nice even and wide pattern with a sharp cut off, I was expecting something similiar. When aimed at the garage door, the pattern looks like 2 X's, and this translated into a big spider legs effect on the road. I ended up getting two additional Hella Micro DE's to fill in all the dark streaks and dark spots. I am only giving this 3 stars because I found another solution to my problem that will let me live with these lights. Otherwise, I would have given it 2 stars.

In summary:

Pros: beam is further and brighter than factory. Looks great, gives your old truck a fresh look. Fits great.

Cons: Terrible beam pattern. Dark spots, narrow, dark streaks.

Anzo spent too much time making the reflectors look cool and more time making the reflectors produce a good beam, if they did even consider that.

If I were to do it again, I would have gotten TYC's for 1/3rd the cost, along with the Hella Micro DE.
